Stephen Odanovich

I help non-technical founders and small businesses ship software they thought was out of budget — full-stack apps, native mobile, real-time dashboards, and AI automation. One person doing what used to take a team of seven.

What I build

Custom software for people who need the right tool.

Off-the-shelf tools get you 60% of the way. I build the other 40% — the part that's actually shaped like your business.

01

Full-stack web apps

Custom web platforms built with React, Next.js, and Cloudflare — from MVP to production in weeks, not months.

e.g. A private booking platform for a rental company replacing Airbnb fees.

02

Native mobile apps

iOS and Android apps built with Flutter and Firebase — one codebase, two app stores, fast turnaround.

e.g. An order-and-pickup app for a weekend pitmaster with inventory + notifications.

03

Real-time dashboards

Custom analytics and KPI tracking that show you exactly what's happening in your business — in real time.

e.g. A lead pipeline dashboard for a school showing traffic source, pages visited, and tour bookings.

04

AI automation & agents

Claude-powered workflows, scrapers, and agents that handle the repetitive work your team shouldn't be doing.

e.g. A scheduled news scanner that pulls, filters, and summarizes relevant deals into Telegram.

05

Marketing sites + SEO

Fast, fluid, conversion-focused sites built for speed, Core Web Vitals, and organic search.

e.g. A 26-page SEO site with blog for a school — from 'digital brochure' to growth engine.

06

Ads + conversion tracking

Full-funnel attribution from ad click to customer — so you know exactly which dollar came from which channel.

e.g. Custom event tracking across Google Ads + Stripe + Clarity, driving 10x ROAS improvement.

07

AI phone answering

Automated call handling that answers, routes, and escalates — so you stop getting interrupted every twenty minutes.

e.g. A voice agent that answers questions, books appointments, and texts you when a human is needed.

08

Website AI text bots

Conversational support and lead capture embedded on your site — trained on your content, not generic replies.

e.g. A chatbot that qualifies leads, answers pricing questions, and hands off warm conversations to you.

Proof of work

Three stories. Three businesses. One person building each of them.

No case study templates. Real problems, what I shipped to solve them, and what changed when it was done.

The school owner

From digital brochure to growth engine

Before

A small preschool was losing leads because their 4-page 'digital brochure' site couldn't show parents what they actually offered. Google barely knew the school existed.

What I built

A 26-page SEO-driven site with a blog, plus a custom real-time tracking dashboard. The owner now sees exactly where every parent came from, which pages they read, where they bounced, and which KPIs they hit — tour scheduling, program registration, phone calls, contact form, directions, social visits.

After

She runs the school. The dashboard runs her pipeline. Leads show up in real time with full context on how they got there.

The weekend pitmaster

A chef in Fargo got his weekends back

Before

Paul is a chef in Fargo, North Dakota who smokes meats lakeside on weekends. His 'ordering system' was a phone buried in 40 text messages and a Venmo feed. Off-the-shelf POS couldn't do it. A real dev firm would have charged $25K+.

What I built

Native iOS and Android apps backed by custom software that manages his entire customer base — weekly menus, ordering, payments, pickups, customer communication, inventory.

After

Paul cooks. The software handles everything else. Full-stack custom software at boutique prices, shipped in weeks.

The direct-to-consumer brand

10x ROAS from better visibility

Before

Calm Sheets was paying Google for traffic but had no idea what happened after the click. They could see spend, but not the journey — which copy blocks worked, where visitors bailed, or which ad creative actually drove customers.

What I built

Custom tracking across the whole funnel — from ad impression to landing page to Stripe checkout — plus Microsoft Clarity session replay so the team can literally watch how visitors interact with every page.

After

With full-funnel visibility, they identified copy and UX breakdowns, rewrote the weak pages, and drove Return on Ad Spend up 10x.

Questions

Things people ask before hiring me.

Straight answers to the questions that actually come up on the first call.

How can one person build this fast?

I use Claude Code and AI-first development workflows. That means I can plan, prototype, build, test, and ship in hours what used to take a small team days. Every hour is still logged — you can see exactly what was built when, and by which role (junior dev, senior dev, UX, DevOps, etc.) in the MasterLog. The quality bar stays the same; the speed is the unfair advantage.

What if I need changes along the way?

Unlimited revisions within the agreed scope. If we said we're building a booking app with payments, you can change copy, visuals, flows, and details as many times as you want until it feels right. If mid-project you decide you also want a second app or a completely different feature, we scope that separately.

Who owns the code?

You do. Full source hand-off on every project. You get a clean Git repo, deploy access, and documentation on how it's built. I don't lock you into a proprietary platform or hold your code hostage.

Do you do retainers or monthly maintenance?

Not right now. Every engagement is a flat-rate project with a defined scope and a fixed price. If something breaks after launch that's on my side, I fix it. If you want new features later, we scope a new project. No $500/month forever contracts.

What if I'm non-technical?

That's exactly who I work with. Solo founders and small business owners who have a clear idea of what they need but don't know how to build it. I'll translate your vision into a scope, show you designs and prototypes before building, and explain the tradeoffs in plain English. You run your business; I'll build the tools.

Let's build something

Tell me about your project.

The more detail the better — what you do, what you need, what's stopping you. I'll get back to you under 24 hours with next steps or clarifying questions.
